In the Lilacs with Julia from Follow Your Fork
If you know me, you'll know that there's nothing I've been waiting for longer than for the flowers to bloom at Highland Park, a park close to where I live, a park that is well-known for its history and its bounty of flowering trees. It's where the annual Lilac Festival is held, where tens of thousands of people come to see the hills bursting with lilacs (and lots of carnival food, too.)
So when Julia (from the blog Follow Your Fork) reached out about a portrait session, I couldn't be more excited. Not only are we fellow food bloggers, but she's also had modeling experience in the past, so I knew it would be a great day.
We did about a 1 1/2 hour session, and we both couldn't be happier with the outcome. Those cherry blossoms, right?!
