Sunset Street Market
Oceanside, California is a pretty retro place. From the cute, vintage boutiques and theaters, to the pier on the beach and the diner at the end of it. There is always something to do and check out. But the greatest attraction they have happens once a week, every week--the Oceanside Sunset Street Market.
Every Thursday starting at around 5, vendors and artisans open their business up to all of the curious customers roaming around. Gourmet food, handcrafted works, and live music breath life into hustle and bustle of the street.
My husband and I try to visit here at least once during my trips. This time, I was busy taking pictures while we were walking around. Meanwhile, Matt was just trying to keep from bumping into me whenever I would stop abruptly to snap a shot. (And also try to keep me from running into other people!) That boy has some patience!
Aside from the delicious food and the locally designed cloths and crafts, one other reason to visit is all of the cute dogs and puppies you can see here!! The people that bring their dogs are usually easy-going, and don’t mind if you want to take a picture of their dog--as long as you ask of course. This also makes it a great way to connect and meet with new people!
I love coming here! There’s always something new to find here. The energy is relaxed and upbeat, and the experience is one of a kind each time.
