Bathroom Bubbly Party

Inspired by another local photographer, I decided to do a model call for a mini couples session/bathroom party for myself! The couple I chose ended up being perfect for this session. They were fun, goofy, and steamy (a triple threat).

The photos that inspired me for this session had disco balls instead of balloons. I chose balloons because they are cheaper and easy to come by. Plus it went with the champagne, aka, bubbly. And using metallic balloons helped tie in the silver streamers. The streamers looked so great in the bathtub and gave the illusion that it was wet. Add in the flash, and it really helped make everything “pop” (pun intended) and really make it feel like we had our own little party going on. The cake was an extra bonus/surprise, because as it turned out, it was one of the model’s birthday that day—so you know I’m gonna get a little something for her as a thank you!

I definitely would consider doing this again! Maybe even doing a mini special for it? We’ll see! ;)
